Hellebore Painted Strain

Our Hellebores bloom here in Northern Ohio just as our hostas and ferns are emerging, a true harbinger of spring. Painted Strain has 3-3 1/2" purple-burgundy blossoms that stand about 15" above the ground. The blooms last approximately 6 weeks. The leathery foliage remains attractive through the fall. Hellebores need protection from hot afternoon sun, they are very easy to grow and pest/disease free.
